I am working full time as webmaster staff. Although I am generating a reasonable income, I should say that I still find it hard to budget my monthly income. Especially when monthly bills are coming up and emergency situations arise that need financial assistance. I am not a super shopper person. I know how to budget and make ends meet. In fact, I was able to build a house which I plan to extend to an apartment, all coming from my savings. But still, my salary cannot compensate all my needs. I need to have some extra income. But I need to start without quitting my job. I know for a fact how difficult it is to be in the business world. It doesn’t guarantee much success especially for first timers like me. So it is good to start small and something that would not interfere or may become conflict with my current job. Just a month ago, I started selling make-ups to my co-employees. And I was surprised to get lots of orders and actually gained profit from it. And the best thing is that, I was able to make friends. I realized selling is a very enjoyable thing to do. I would never have known I have some selling skills until I tried. I’m starting and still want to expand. It doesn’t only give me extra income, but also gives me assurance that even if I get laid off from job, I still have my fallback. As long as you have goals to and wishes you want to attain, you should never stop thinking of having to start a business.
