Ebay’s new number sytem gathers both positive and negative feedback from sellers. The new number system works in such a way that the lower number items will show up first in search no matter what search criteria is used. Some sellers say that the new system has given them more sales but are still confused of the change. While other sellers claim that the change in system has affected their sales and is having a hard time keeping up their powerseller status just not worth paying the listings with  such low sales. Speculations were made that some servers do better than others. I think ebay must explain and disseminate information well before it actually starts to implement something otherwise it will gather a lot of criticism and misinterpretations.
