book.GIFA lot of ebay sellers are finding it hard to get into the business. Here are some helpful tips for sellers who may be lost in the most populated world of ebay. Go back to the basic and review where you are going. Maybe you missed some things or want to try new things. Well, wherever you are, you may have to try some few things here in my own 10 commandments:

 

 

  1. Don’t sell junks. When you sell junks you compete based on price instead competing based on value or quality. On the other hand, if you sell higher quality items, you build credibility and it is very important to buyers. Remember, your reputation makes you stay on ebay.
  2. Always find a group. Consult other people and share information and new ideas, strategies. It is good to find your group and talk about what’s happening in the market, the latest trends and the niche. Advance and improveyour selling skills from your group.
  3. Link as many as possible that leads to your ebay store or the product you are selling. Changing marketing strategy. Too many tools available for link now. Try as much as you can.
  4. Product Focus. Do not just sell for example, CD’s. Concentrate on reaching out to music lovers. Look at the people or the user instead of looking into product you are selling. Find a category that you are interested about in order to differentiate yourself.
  5. Be involved in the marketplace. Blogging, backlinking, making ebooks. Share knowledge and experience that could benefit people. Be known to the community.
  6. Do not get stuck in one area. Know that it is so easy for other sellers to put the same product at a lower price. Expand or branch out in some other areas. Have the ability to adapt to the changing marketplace. Constantly seeking out and testing new things or sell something else.
  7. Speak with buyers. Break them into small segment so you can directly peak to them. Know what type of customer you have.
  8. Find a wholesaler or a manufacturer. If you get it from manufacturers, you can actually compete with price and you can also sell in bulk.
  9. Stand out from the crowd of people. Present your products in a way that people will notice it. Improve your presentation style. Attach vivid pictures, animations, videos.
  10. Know what your buyers think. Find out what motivates them. Give them more options to choose from. And accessible payment system.
